Mr. Hall my name is Andy McIntyre and I want to write to you and your family because I feel connected to you because you have the same birthday as I do. I also am I huge Notre Dame fan and I noticed that you grew up in South Bend. I feel terrible that you had to pass in this terrible war, but I wanted to say that I will remember your life and service forever.

Michael is buried at Jefferson Barracks Nat Cem.

Although we never met personally, I want to thank you Michael Jennings Hall, for your courageous and valiant service, faithful contribution, and your most holy sacrifice given to this great country of ours!

Your Spirit is alive--and strong, therefore Marine, you shall never be forgotten, nor has your death been in vain!
