honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Ann Miller Robinson is poignant and reflects the very harsh and tragic consequences of war. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever….

Calvin D. Halford
Calvin was our neighbor and friend…..I was 16 when he died……his death is what made the Vietnam War real to me…… I’ve never forgotten the the sound of the bugle playing Taps nor the 21 gun salute……as they say “all gave some, some gave all” and we should never forget…..

My Great Uncle Calvin
Dear Uncle Calvin,
I am your niece and I unfortunately never got to meet you. I know your brother though he is my Grandpa and he is an amazing man. I wish I could have met you and I want you to know how proud I am of you. You made such a sacrifice for not only your country but your family. I would possible not even be here today if it wasn't for your sacrifice. I love you so much Uncle Calvin, can't wait to meet you in heaven.
I also would like to thank everyone who has left comments for my Uncle Calvin, it helps me get to know my Uncle just a little bit more.
Your loving Niece,
Jessica
