I remember dropping you off at the Minneapolis Airport to leave for Vietnam, 5 months later I come home from college classes and my Mother greets me at the door with the news you had been killed. This year Ken is there to see you, he died early April, a lot of the guys from High School were there, small Vietnam Vets get together. Will always miss you, that war hurt my soul so bad!

I remember taking you to Mpls St Paul airport right before Christmas 1967 to see you off for Vietnam, little did we know you would never see our faces again ... your burial was a closed casket and the pain of your loss will never leave.

Thank You
Dear Cpl David Haefner,
Thank you for your service as a Field Artillery Basic. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
