Bronze Star Medal for Valor Award

Petty Officer First Class Charles Lehman Hackworth was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as a Hospital Corpsman 1st Class and was assigned to MABS-16, MAG-16, 1ST MAW, III MAF.
