Wally--Thank you for your sacrifice. You will always be remembered for our good times growing up in Naperville--Little League, Cub Scouts, and general goofing round as kids do!! I was a freshman on Loyola U. ROTC Drill Team with Walt as commander. So honored to have known him and his service in the Army!

My brother and I were chatting about Walt and Pete Roller who started the Spotted Pony Society in Naperville before Walt's deployment. What they started together lasted for years and years and taught us kids some excellent values that we have taken into adulthood and made us better citizens. Thanks Walt. And thanks for your service.

Still remember your enthusiasm, and dedication to duty. We truly thought you were going to make it when we medevaced you to Can Tho via Seawolf. I've been trying to contact Major Willoughby, without success. Think of you often.
