I Remember Your Sacrifice
PEACE WITH HONOR
Thank you for your service and sacrifice as your brothers in arms remember you.
You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Eristeo.

Thank You
Dear Sgt Eristeo Gutierrez,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

A friend from Edinburg Texas
I was with Jr. ,as he liked to be called, for a couple of months in Saigon. We got there Aug.1965 with the 125th Air Traffic Control Company. He told me how he had been initially a paratrooper but injured his leg and had been then trained as a lineman and assigned to the 125thATC. When I told him I was an airplane mechanic waiting to be assigned an airplane to crew-chief, he told me he had been taught to fly a crop duster airplane back in Mathis when he was 14 or 15. He also loaned me his books he had studied to get his license. Also he taught me how to jump out of the airplane if I ever needed to. Later, after I had been assigned an airplane in DaNang and later Cam Ranh, I would see him for a day or two whenever I was with the airplane on a trip to Saigon for radios or other supplies. I don't remember seeing him a year later Aug '66 when my year was over and I was coming back. I would be honored to hear from some one in his family. [email protected]. And Jr. I will see you in heaven.Thank you for being my friend.
