Specialist Four Michael James Guidry, Served with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 11th Infantry Brigade, Americal Division, United States Army Vietnam. He was assigned to Company E, 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 11th Infantry Brigade, when he was killed in action.

I have touched your name on the wall... remember you each memorial day as a cousin I never met...nor will forget. I keep your picture with me on my phone...and wish you peace... my Cajun Cousin.
I am thankful for your service and that you were an Army medic...trained to save lives.

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam

It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call.
