Hi Stan,
I've been meaning to leave you a little note for years now. It has been 68 years since our last class together at Cascade as juniors. I can't remember we had any together as seniors but just want to say I do still remember you!
Thanks for your little jokes that broke up the routine.

I drew a picture of Andy Capp on Stanley's wrist cast the night before he was killed by our own artillery fire. We trained together at Fort Sill.
I will never forget him.

I was the only girl in a class of male seniors at Cascade. I was terrified of getting up in front of the class. You went out of your way to encourage me and lessen my anxiety. I will never forget your kindness. RIP Stan you were a outstanding young man.
