Marine Warrior

Today mark's the 37th anniversary since Theodore perished. I don't know him, but as I was going down the list of all the Marine warriors that we lost on this day, I came across his name. July 21, 1966 is a sad day for me because I lost my brother, Marine PFC Pedro Martinez, he was with Hotel, 2/1, it happen during Operation Hasting. It's sad to say, but my brother was born on Oct 19, 46, Theidore on Oct 8, 46, my brother was 0311, and would have completed a year in August, he was 19 when he perished. I honor your service and your supreme sacrifice Theidore. Take your warrior's rest for a duty well done. Sempre Fi, Marine!

"The man I never knew"

Teddy also known as "butch" was my second cousin. I never knew him for I was born almost 15 years after his death. Through his courage and sacrifice I myself was inspired to join the marines in his footsteps. He is loved and missed by all of us. His character and selflessness is an inspiration to all of us. Guns up and semper fi butch you're in my thoughts always.
