Thank You
Dear PFC Wendell Grizzle,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Honor, Love and Remembering the sacrifice of our Uncle Shorty
We never got the chance to know you but stories from Mom and Mark filled our lives as we grew up. Always felt Honor and Love for you and remember your sacrifice for us everyday. You prescience is missed everyday but you never be forgotten. We love our Uncle Shorty and will meet you one day.

You are a legacy!
Wendell was my mother's oldest brother. He was known to our family as "Shorty". I lost my mother when I was 2. He died way before I was born. I hate I never got to meet you because everyone said you were an amazing person! I'm proud to be your niece and I tell my girls about your sacrifice! You leave a legacy of braveness and a family that adored you!!

A 20 year old Hero who died for his country
I heard from Wendell's cousin Larry Causey what a great person you were and about your heroic supreme sacrifice with the Marines in Vietnam.
Like my Army medevac crew chief Killed in Vietnam in June 1970 who was also only 20 years old you both were way too young to die in such a far away place in this endless war.
