Thank You

Dear CPL Robert Griffiths,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering Bob

I remember back to 1961 when I was coming home from Sunday school and some rough necked kids were throwing rocks and hit me over my eye. Bob happened to see it happen. He ran over and got the kid and then picked me up and gallantly ran with both of us to my house where he turned us over to my parents. I think I must have been about six years old. I will never forget that day when Bob saved this frightened little girl. He became my hero that very day. It was a very sad day when we lost him. Thank you Bob for your service and sacrifice. Gone but not forgotten.

Semper Fi!

Even, though you were two years older than me. Went to Collins elementary in N. Long Beach and Paramount High with you. Use, to hang with the Holland brothers and you. We shared the same birthday. Followed you in the Marine Corps in 1965 and Nam. Was with G/2/5. Semper FI! Victor Bozic
