You are not forgotten.

At the height of the Vietnam War I was a military Brat teenager and I had to be careful what I said or did as far as how I felt about the 'conflict' in case it reflected on my dad's military career. When remembrance bracelets came out I secretly got one. I still have it and just found the Face that belongs to the name by using the site in the comments. Proof that old men start wars and young men/women fight them.

Never Forget

Way back in our rural Kansas high school, us girls all ordered bracelets. (I'm 66) We just got, who we got, no choice. I was proud of wearing Robert's name, and we never took our bracelets off, ever. I still have that bracelet and just now decided to type his name in the search bar. I cried when I read he was 'found', but thankfully, no longer missing. I know the heartache of losing a son from losing mine. Even though it's been many years, God bless and be with Robert's family & friends now.

honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from those who wore/wear your MIA bracelet are moving. I am heartened you returned home though I wish it had been under very different circumstances. May you rest in eternal peace.
