Forever a hero

Tommy, once again the day we lost you plus 51 years is here. My friend I thought I was doing something good by keeping you out of the line of fire during the fire fight.Little did I know a VC was hiding in a spider hole as we went by .It tears me up to go over this day in my mind. So sorry. I keep in touch with your brother Don and his wife Mary by phone and at reunions. Once again you are my hero. Love you brother. Doug

Memories

Thanks Doug for remembering Tom every year. He and I went for our physicals together in Aug. 67. He was a close friend. Two country boys gone to town kind of thing. Yes, I think of him often and have visited his grave several times. He was a friends friend. RIP Tom.
