Distinguished Flying Cross Award
Captain Robert Carrell Green was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroism and extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight. He served as an Armored Reconnaissance Unit Commander and Pilot. He was assigned to C TRP, 16TH CAVALRY, 1ST AVIATION BDE.

Roommate
Bob and I were Flight School roommates at Ft Wolters, Tx. He was funny. We road Triumph motorcycles, we were double dating when he met his future wife. I think of Bob often. Rest In Peace !
