Distinguished Flying Cross Award

Sergeant Rae Arvid Bailey was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism and extraordinary achievement while engaged in aerial flight. He served as an Airborne Qualified Parachute Rigger and Helicopter Crewman. He was assigned to

RIP My Brother in Arms

Will never forget you Rae,we both re-enlisted to leave Germany and go to Vietnam and ended up in 1st Cav together.Will never forget day you was shot down and the next day when your body was recovered and returned to Phouc Vihn.
