OUR LEE - IN HEAVENLY HANDS
The service he gave was beyond extraordinary.
The duty he finished with honor and integrity.
The fight too intense, the wounds too many.
The flag was draped, and the tears were many.
The sound of taps, the precious life now gone.
The loss that aches, far and beyond the dawn.
The years have passed, the yearning still there.
The life of our precious one, a treasure so fair.
The Lord heals the heart, when in journey we gain.
The memories, loving reflections to always remain.
The soul desire, in Heavenly hands, reunited together again.
The life afar, so bright and true, His eternity and love, amen.
The gospel when told, we believe, we must trust His reprieve.
The moment of death, you’ll see, in the Christ we say, receive.
The duty he finished with honor and integrity.
The fight too intense, the wounds too many.
