I Do Not Sleep

To Bobby's Family ~~~
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hust, I am the soft uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die.

Gone but NEVER Forgotten.

Bobby,
You will always be with me in my heart.

You would have been fifty (50) May 2,1999.

I long to see your beautiful brown eyes and gentle loving face.

You weren't with us long at all and yet the years have flown by.

August 30, 1999 will be thirty years since you have been gone.

Bobby you know you are never forgotten.
How I miss you and I will never stop loving you.

Our hearts will always be heavy with the sadness left when you were taken from us.

God Bless you and keep you in his loving arms.
With all my love to you always Bobby!
Your first niece, Little Susie Q.

Miss you

It's wonderful you have people who remember you. I miss all five of you killed that day. You started out as such a goofy guy and became such a good pilot. I still remember the day you became an AC.

Never Alone

On this Memorial Day, 1999, you are still remembered. It's been 30 years since you were taken from our families. I still remember my Dad upon hearing the news of your death, "They killed our Bobby, they killed our Bobby". It was a heart breaking day for all of us. You are truly my hero. You are missed, charished, loved, and honored. Your memory is carried in my heart always. Jan (Stewart) Sperbeck, cousin, Anchorage, Alaska.
