Thank You
Dear PFC Richard Gray,
Thank you for your service as a Multichannel Maintenance Helper. Your birthday just passed, and your anniversary is soon, sigh. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear PFC Richard Paul Gray, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

7Bn-13th Field Artillery Group -Vietnam Veterans
I am trying to find living family members of this honorable service man. This man gave his all during that war – and he belonged to my artillery unit. After 40 some years of no contact with any other veterans in this unit, and with the help of computers, some of us have now connected, and are banding together to get a group reconnected, and have annual reunions. This past year (2013) was our 4th get together, going from 17 men to 70. At each and every reunion, we have held a memorial service to honor our 13 service brothers who did not return home. Their names are all on the Vietnam Wall. One service was at the Wall itself in Washington DC., and another at the Citadel in Charleston, SC. I have tried for these past 4 years to find a family member, or someone who knew of them, so that they might attend one of our memorial services in their honor. I've tried every avenue I know of to do this, and have not found one single relative. I know if it was me – being a genealogist – I'd want to know that my family member was being remembered for their short life & ultimate sacrifice if I could.
Please help me connect to Richards's extended family members to make them aware of our group memorials. As well, representing our group, I'd like to thank Richard & his family, for his ultimate sacrifice, & extend condolences. We will never forget him.

We never truly cease to exist until we are forgotten
