Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Mary Frye – 1932

Thank You
Dear Donald,
Through the many years of the Vietnam War, lives were taken fighting for a cause. A cause that many Americans felt was a worry cause. Some Americans did not feel that it was a worthy enough of a cause to go into a war. Whether or you not you agreed with the reasons that you were there, you chose to stand up for what your country was doing over there. My history teacher at Gridley High School in Gridley, IL presented us with this website as a way to express our gratitude towards the men who have died during this war. Although this is a required project, this is not something I am doing because I have to. I feel very strongly towards the men and women that have died for what this country represents throughout the world. That is the reason that I am posting these remembrances. Not because I have to, but because I want to show respect to my country and to the people that have supported its causes. Thank you so much
