A remembrance of Annie Ruth Graham is included in the nonfiction book "Potpourri of War" by Noonie Fortin (published in 1998 by Langmarc Publishing). We all owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to her and the other members of our military who gave so much.

My name is Noel Ulrich. I’m from Gridley High School and we’re doing a project for Consumer Economics. We’re posting remembrances for those who’ve died for our great country. If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

Although I never met her I am sure that she was a real hero. She gave her life trying to save the soldier's lives.Oh brave Nurse thank you for your service!
