If I should die...remembrances for MAJ. Warren Judge GOSS, USA...who made the utlimate sacrifice!!!!
If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

From A Former Student
I first meet the then Captain Goss when he was assigned to be my ROTC Course Advisor once I had been accepted into the Advanced Corps ROTC at Central State University, Wilberforce, OH in the summer of 1967. I was between quarters of my Soph. & Jr. year and I was not enrolled at the time I received my Draft Notice to report for induction. At the I could not report as ordered due to a family matter that could not be altered, Capt. Goss advised me on how to avoid my pending Draft Notice and full fill my military obligation at the same time. It was Capt. Goss who enlightened me to the benifits of the Delayed Inlistment Program and set me on the path to where I am today (a proud Vietnam Veteran). Had it not been for him and his advice beck then I may have made a decision back then that I might be ashamed of today. I am thankful for having had the privilege of his advise and his example.
