My beloved brother Glenn

I will always remember you and what a good and caring person you were to me, your little sister, and to your family. I was 7-years-old when you died. You were 20-years old. That was too young to go to war and leave your family. I will always remember how brave you were to go and to sacrifice your youth and ultimately your life. You went because that was the kind of person you were, brave and honorable. I will always remember my fun-loving big brother who would take the time to read to me and take me to the library and just be my friend. God blessed us to have you for 20 years and I believe and trust our family will be reunited again in heaven, where there is no more sorrow, loneliness, or fear. God bless you Glenn, and all the others who sacrificed for our country. I will always love and remember you.

Your Soul Lives On

My name is Phoenix Marr and I am a senior at Gridley High School. My teacher has started the Gridley High School Posting Project which is an opportunity for all of the students to remember the men and women who gave their lives for this country. Although I did not know Glenn personally, I know that you had incredible courage and might! You were a very special person! You gave your life while serving this country. You, along with many others, showed only love and confidence for our country. You believed when all others had lost hope! Thank you for you service! Your soul lives on. God Bless.

Thank You

It was an ultimate service to fight in the war for our country. It was even greater of you to help keep our country free. I thank you for your sacrifice and the freedom that you helped to provide all Americans with.
