We Love and Miss You
Drannon's son, Jeffery Drannon Gordon was born 10-31-69 who looks and acts just like his dad. Jeff is a NC HP Trooper and former FBI agent. We all miss Drannon, but get to see him every time we see his son Jeff. As a tribute to Drannon, Jeff, Joy and granddaughter Shade, his mom Margie, his wife Ingrid, keep him alive with his name & picture incorporated in a picture of the Vietnam Memorial Wall hanging in our home and my office , Jeff's home and mom's home. My Brother was my best man when Joyce and I were married in 1961... WE WILL NEVER FORGET. Peace!

You Are Truly Missed
My name is Phoenix Marr and I am a senior at Gridley High School. My teacher has started the Gridley High School Posting Project which is an opportunity for all of the students to write remembrances for those men and women who gave their lives for our country. I want to thank Drannon for your unbelievable bravery and amazing strength! You will always be remembered by many for your outstanding service. Although I did not personally know you, I know that you were a great human being who stood by this country through thick and thin! You are truly missed! God Bless.

I remember LT. Gordon
I have a lot of great memories of LT. gordon, we were bunk mates at 3rd. field hospital in saigon, and bunkmates again up at the 6th. CC. CAM RAN BAY. We were both hit on the same operation. He was a good guy, I was there the day he died, just could not believe he got hit again, and didn't make it, truly a sad time for all of us who knew him.
