honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank You
Dear PFC Manuel Gonzales,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Epiphany. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Wish I Met Him
My Uncle Manuel Gonzales was a brave young man. Although I never met him as he passed before he could meet any of his nieces and nephews, the pictures, stories, and medals left behind help me get to know him. The heartache his parents (My grandparents now deceased) his siblings (my Dad, Aunts,Uncle) must have felt and probably still feel at the loss of the wonderful Man never goes away. God Bless him for giving his all for Us.
