David P. Goldsmith
David has been on my mind since reading the book The Woman. He was my next door neighbor and my friend. I remember getting home from HS and my mom saying, I have something to tell you. David was a fun, loving guy & I was and always will be proud of calling him my friend!

A Tragic Loss
I recall being in seventh grade with my classmate Martin Goldsmith when he was called out of class. Apparently, he was being summoned to return home where he learned about the sacrifice of his brother David. I will never forget that day, or the loss of life that occurred in Vietnam. God continue to Bless David, Martin the entire Goldsmith family and all those young men and woman that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
