An American Hero Spc 4

Dear Uncle .
Some of your brothers in arms have reached out to me and told me what you did to save their lives in that horrific battle . You gave all to save them and sacrificed your life so they could go on with theirs . I have reached out to your wife that you had back then and she told me she is very proud to have been your wife then . I have had a void filled knowing what your comrades have told me . I continue to talk to them occasionally . I just wish Dad and your brothers and sis were still around so i can tell them what you did and that you were sent home to be at rest . For years they always wondered that . I know your with them now and having a great time with grandma and grandpa , Dad , Joe , Jim , and Barb . Danny is still doing great. ,
With love
Your Nephew
John Robert Badger,
For those that served with my Uncle or fought in that war , I thank you for your service and i salute you . your all hero's

Thank you

I was on the hill next to you the night you were killed. Today I learned your name after searching for 50 years. I will always remember that night. May God bless you and your family my brother. I would so much like to hear from your family.
