honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your friend Weldon Ballard is poignant and evokes memories of long ago when we were young and innocent and had our whole lives ahead of us. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever…..

Larry
Larry....Honoring you on your birthday.....Never forgotten....God Bless.
I kept looking at your picture thinking “he looks familiar” so I finally opened your tribute page. Was surprised to see that Snelling was your home time.....remember that old rock house in downtown (maybe two blocks now) was built by my Great grandparents!! Yes, I know Snelling, Merced Falls and the area. ...... and many of the kids that grew up in the country. God Bless you Larry and thank you for your commitment to this beautiful country.

Rest Peacefully
I found a funeral card in my Mother's things with Larry's name on it. I had never heard of Larry Goar. I know my Grandmother, Gladys Hulse's maiden name was Goar. He must have been a good man. I know Im grateful for his service. LTC David Schultz

Thank You
Dear PFC Larry Goar,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 73rd birthday just passed, happy birthday. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
