Fifty years ago Bob bacon was KIA in the Republic of Vietnam. We remember our brother and hope we can keep his memory alive for another fifty years, so that others will not die in vain. This is from all those who served with him.

Although we never met I saw your photo everyday as I worked at Phillipsburg High School as a day custodian. Day after day I would walk by your photo and glance at you and the other young men that gave their lives in Vietnam. I came across this web site and found out more about you and the incredible sacrifice that was given for that war. I am happy that I found you here but feel sadden for the life you never got to live, I am very proud that I can say that for a time I walked were you walked and I am humbled by the amazing sacrifice you made for your county and for the town of Phillipsburg
