My Friend's Big Brother
Hey, Mike...I was your sister, Jenny's "best" friend for a long time when we were just little girls in elementary school and you were the big brother that was so much nicer than my own big brother, I thought. I remember when Jenny and I took your go-cart without your permission and drove it into the wall; you came out and fussed at us, but still we knew you were mostly worried about us. When you were killed, we were all so shocked and stunned. My own brother still shakes his head over it; my mother cried for you. Saw your mom some years ago and she said taking care of your grandma kept her mind off it. We all loved you so; we'll see you again.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Michael Robert Glenn, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

To a old friend that has not been forgotten
I was just directed to this site by a very close friend of Mike...Tony Henry....
I was also a neighbor and very close friend to Mike, Sally and Jenny all slightly younger than me. Mike Glenn was a great person and a great loss to our community, country and to Mike's Family. His spirit and good will be remember by all of us which knew him.
Salute Mike for your contribution to the defense of our ideas of Freedom. We have a memorial to Mike in Smyrna Georgia Square which I will get a picture of and post.
