Thank You
Dear Sp5 Charles Girard,
Thank you for your service as a Huey, UH-1 Helicopter Repairer, Door Gunner. Merry Christmas. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Chuck was my Friend
I grew up in Pasadena with Chuck and we had lots of fun times.
He spoke to me about joining but I had no interest. Well I was drafted . When Chuck heard that I was In Country he wrote me a letter suggesting we meet up somewhere in Vietnam. His letter
was haunting he said "When I heard You Were in Army I just Knew You'd be an Infantryman and be with the 25th " (I Was)
his last line of letter sums up Chuck and his sense of humor.
" PS Shoot Low They're Shorter Than You Think"
