NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER
It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters.
Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.

Thank You
I never had the opportunity to meet you, so you are probably wondering why I am writing on your behalf. I just want to take a few minutes and thank you for what you did for this country. You are a hero in my eyes. You gave all that you could possibly give, your life. I just want to let you know I deeply appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Jamie Gilmore

IN MEMORY OF
We dedicated the tennis courts in Waltham Ma. to Peter. That is where we we all hung around as kids. You will always be remembered.

You were the best of the best
I went through NCOC (Non-commissioned Officer Candidate) training with Peter at Ft. Benning, GA in 1969. His bunk was next to mine.
Peter was a warm friend to anyone and everyone and we had a special affinity since we were both from California.
It is true that the good really do die young. Peter was the best of the best, and we are all poorer for his absence.
Rest in peace buddy.
