Thank You

Dear Lcpl Timothy Gilkey,
Thank you for your service as an Antitank Assaultman. Merry Christmas. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Brother Tim

The years have passed since you left us but your memory has not faded. Dad, Mom, Bobby, and Fred have all joined you. I am sure the 5 of you have some good times together. I think about you often and wonder what would have been different in my life if my big brother had not sacrificed his life at age twenty. Thank you for the entertainment you provided us. Thank you for teaching me how to play ball. I kept your glove for many years until the padding wore out. I wonder sometimes if you can look down from heaven and see how we are doing. If so then you know how much I missed having you in my life. Looking forward to seeing you again one day.....
