Thank you
I know your brother Billy Trout and to say he is a fine man misses the mark. He mentions you fondly and is very proud and grateful for the sacrifice you made for this country. Your sacrifice was not in vain and your memory lives on through Billy and those that know him. You gave everything and I am truly grateful for that. May you enjoy eternal rest in the presence of God Almighty

High School buddies
Mark and I were good friends in High School and in college. I started learning to fly my freshman year and peaked his interest in flying, but he couldn't afford it and joined the Army to become an Army Aviator. I saw Mark several times when he was in the Army and just before he shipped out to Vietnam. He loved flying. I have attached his Murfreesboro Central High School Senior Picture.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear Captain Mark Albert Babson Jr, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

First Love
Somebody is out there somewhere remembering you and the impact you made in their life.
Mark came in and out of my life for years. He was talented, spontaneous, fun loving, and unpredictable. The last time I saw Mark was 67-68 when he came home on leave and showed up at my door. The last time I saw his daughter she was very young. Mark is someone I will never forget. He is sadly missed.
