PAUL GERLACH- REMEMBERED BY HIS FAMILY
Jack Gerlach recently shared five photos of his brother Paul. Paul is seen in uniform, after his basic training in St Louis, Missouri; 1966. Paul is pictured on the back of a ship, headed to Vietnam in 1967. Also in 1967 Paul is shown shirtless, then with his buddies near a tank at their firebase outside of Kontum City. Lastly is Paul’s 1965 graduation photo from R.M. La Follette High School in Madison, Wisconsin; just east of Lake Monona. Thanks to Jack and the Gerlach Family.

honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank You
Dear PFC Paul Gerlach,
Thank you for your service as an Armor Crewman with the 1st Cavalry. Happy Advent. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
