Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

He loved being a Marine, never complained,never showed any fear. I woke up April 30, 1968 thinking I am a short timer, 22 days. We could hear the firefight to the north.
Lt. Norris ordered Bravo co. to saddle up and move out, we moved up to the banks of the Beau Deau River, some of the bravest Marines to ever wear the uniform died over the next 3 days, the battle is recorded in the book Magnificent Bastards.
Never let us forget these Heroes.

Leslie, You are remembered. Six Nations Warrior.

I will always remember you Leslie as a quiet intelligent friend who I was in class with at North Junior High School. When I found out what became of you in Vietnam I wanted to remember and honor your service as I’m doing now years later. Rest In Peace Leslie and thank you for your service. Mark Gatley
