do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

Left us way too soon
I worked in the H&S Company S-1 with LCpl Baade and he had recently returned to us from R&R in Hawaii before we lost him. LCpl Hernandez account is accurate, Baade & Alabama (Charles McLeod) were two of the most liked Marines in our group, I rotated home just 4 days after we lost them.
