Your younger brother Gerard was my younger brother Craig’s best friend.
We also lived in College Park.
Craig and Gerard were 13 years old when you were killed in combat.
Gerard was devastated.
He told Craig he was afraid you and your sacrifice would be forgotten.
Craig promised Gerard we would never forget you.
Craig is gone now. I hope you two have become friends.
I now have the responsibility to remember you and will do so to the best of my ability.
