My Dad's best friend

Dennis was my Dad's childhood friend. He spoke of him often and how this tragedy effected his mother so deeply. She never gave up hope that one day he would come home alive and well. Today I got to visit the moving POW/MIA wall and make many rubs off his name. I placed one by my Dad's Urn in my living room and said to my Dad "I hope you finally found your friend, I know how much you've missed him". I'm going to be making a shadow box for Dennis to display in my house. Although he went missing before I was born, I feel a connection to him through my Dad. RIP Dennis.

Love and memories

I received this man's POW bracelet from my grandmother years back and I have learned and cherished the bracelet and the man behind it.

Part of me

I did not know Sgt. Gauthier but when my mother died last year I found his POW bracelet that I wore in the 70s. It was one of the first serious things I ever took to heart as a kid and I am so blessed to have it back, so grateful for his service, and so sad that he never came home.

Bracelet

I too have been wearing his bracelet since the early 70's. My original is at the Palm Springs Air Museum. But I quickly ordered a second to continue wearing. I am a retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major and will wear his bracelet forever.
