We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Thank You
Dear Cpl David Garrapy,
Thank you for your service as an Antitank Assaultman. Happy Veterans' Day. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Memorial Day 5-26-14
Just by chance, I stood for an hour with you today, David, at the Memorial Day "Day of Remembrance" at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. It was the first time we've met, but something about you grabbed my heart, and I came home and "found" you, so now I know that you served as a US Marine. I was 12 years old the day you died, and now I am the mother of a currently serving US Marine. God bless you and give you peace, David -- you will be in my prayers every day.
