Thank You

Dear Sgt Carlos Garcia,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Today is Election Day. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Peace with Honor

You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Carlos.

Remembering you.

It's been 46 years and I can still remember you like it was yesterday. Thank you for watching over me along with Christ in Iraq and Afghanistan. You are never forgotten in my heart and in our cousins Chuy and Jose. We speak of you everytime we get together. It's amazing that they say that time heals all wounds, but for us it still hurts. Rest in peace my brother, because surely we will see each other again.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT Carlos Hill Garcia, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
