54 Years
Tony - It's been 54 years since you died in action. I wish that you were here and that you had a chance to have a family and grow old with the rest of us. You were a kind and generous young man, the youngest uncle in our family. I could relate to you as you were only ten years older than me. You'll never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.

We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Never Forget
My uncle Tony was an inspiration to me and many others. He joined the Marines hoping to have a shorter term of service so he could return sooner to join his girlfriend. He drove a black MGA coupe and was someone I could look up to. Tony was 9 years older than me. I've been to the Vietnam Memorial in DC several times and always looked up and touched his name. He will never be forgotten.
