To the lost boys - the Gambles of war
Thank you for your sacrifice. For giving the only life you had for the people who you loved and the people who didn’t even know. Your sacrifice is one of courage and love.
William H Gamble, I dream about your experience and I talk to you daily. I am your descendant, one of few that are left. I understand you and 9 of the Gambles lost at war have watched over me my whole life. Thank you.

To my Uncle Billy
I wrote about you in my book, Moon Puddles. I wish you could have read it, but if you didn't die in Vietnam I would never have written the book. So not only do I want to thank you for being a great uncle to me, and for doing your duty for our country, but also for helping me to write my book. A book I think you would have loved. If you can check out books in heaven, look on Amazon under Moon Puddles, by Robert Gamble. Love, Bobby
