I am doing a Project in my APB and Consumer class and we have to write remembrances for as many Vietnam Veterans as we want. You fought in this war and gave your Supreme Sacrifice. I admire everyone that didn’t or did have the choice to fight in this war. I want to let you know that you are in my thoughts and will never be forgotten.

My name is Phoenix Marr and I am a senior at Gridley High School in Gridley, Illinois. My history teacher challenged all of his students to write remembrances for those of the men and women who gave their lives while fighting for our country. Although I did not know Ryan personally, I know that he put forth all of his courage, strength, and integrity. I want to take this time to thank him for his incredible pride and unbelievable bravery.
