Dear Sp4 Joseph Gallagher,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the Bobcats. Your 71st birthday is this month, happy birthday. Today is All Souls, today we think of you. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Joe Gal was a classmate of mine at West Catholic class of '65. I served in Vietnam in 1967 with the 1st Marine Division and was one of the lucky ones to return home I visited The Wall on Sunday with Honor flight Phila with 150 other Vietnam vets. I visited Joe's honor spot on the wall and thought of the many memories I had of him.
