Never Forgotten

Hard to believe how such a young man could be so brave, a true angel serving his country and dying for what he believes in. He may not be with us but he is watching over us from above waiting to help. Thank you for your service and the sacrifice you and your family made to protect the men, women, and children of this country.

Memorial Day 2023

Uncle Terry, You are in my thoughts, not just today on Memorial Day, as I think about you everyday. I know you watched over me as my Guardian Angel while I was trying to survive in Vietnam as a fellow grunt. You were only a year and a half older than me, and I still consider you as my older brother. I remember the call from Uncle Buzzy to my Infantry training school and his words were "We lost Terry." I cried very hard that night. I served in the 199th LIB and 2 units in the 25th, and as you know, I too wound up in the Wolfhounds. We will meet again in heaven someday...I hope you can hear these words up there, as I will always love you. Larryz

honoring you...

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.
