GEORGE (DODE) AVGERINOS

George Richard Avgerinos,
Today is your birthday!! Happy 75th Birthday!!! You are my hero and my handsome big brother. I am immensely proud of you. I miss you everyday. I remember your favorite songs "Sunny" and "This guy's in love with you". We danced to the 45's as I looked up at you giggling as you swung be around. Your smile lit up a room!!!! I love you with all my heart and all my soul. I cherish your nickname "Dode" which came from my baby talk pronunciation and it stuck. I look forward to every dream (visit) I have had of you over the years. Thank you for your gallantry, you are a badass!!! You are loved by so many. We wish you were here.

Your baby sister, Maureen XOXOXOXO

Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
