Rest in Heavenly Peace
Vincent was a classmate of my late husband. He would often read a memorial posted in the newspaper posted each year by Vincent’s mom. He was remembered by my husband as a nice guy liked by everyone. May he rest in peace with the angels and be reunited with his parents.

WE SERVED TOGETHER
Vinny (Gabe was his handle with me) we both served together at El Toro Naval Air Station in Santa Ana California in early '66 where we became close friends. We worked together for months before we both received orders to go to Vietnam.
We both went to Okinawa together for a few days getting our equipment before going to Nam. We landed in Da Nang both assigned to the 3rd Marine Division but we were sent to different supply companies. That was the last time I saw Gabe.
We spoke a few times on field phones. I was getting ready to rotate back to the world in August of '67 and I had not had any communication with him. I finally was able to talk with someone in his outfit on a field phone and they confirmed that he had been killed by an IED while driving his Lieutenant in a jeep at the time. The Lieutenant survived but Gabe was Killed 10 months in country. My 2nd Daughter is named for him. "Gabriell"
Semper Fi ole Buddy - RIP

We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
