He is never forgotten, Susie!
Nickie, when I was a little girl in Minnesota, my parents were house parents in Northstar dorm where your sweet Susie lived. She told me all about you and often showed me your picture on the ceiling above her top bunk. She loved you so much, and felt so loved by you! I can never forget her pain when she lost you. Fifty-six years later, I still remember your name, your sacrifice and your love for her. Thank you for loving God and her so deeply. Your big heart made a lasting impression on me. We never met, but you changed my life.

In Remembrance Of Nicholas Fulmer
Dear Nick, My Name is Robert Sacks. We never met but in 1969 I had the honor to meet your Mother and Father when they presented me with the Memorial Trophy named in your honor. I was presented this award after obtaining my Eagle Scout rank. At that time I was sixteen years old andI have to be honest i did not appreciate the gravity of your sacrifice or the pain that your mom and dad had to endure as the result of your passing, Nick, today I'm 66 years old and have a wonderful wife and two grown sons and I can tell you I truly do understand the ultimate sacrifice you made for me and your country. I also can better grasp the pain and heartache your parents must have felt! I have been meaning to write this note for some time to say thank you, how trivial that sounds! Thank you for service and sacrifice, As they say all gave some but you gave all. With my deepest respect and gratitude! Robert Taft Sacks
