I STILL WEAR MY BRACELET WITH YOUR NAME

My brother was in VN on the ground with the Army. My mom would not allow me to have a bracelet. I wanted one so bad!
When my husband and I visited D.C., outside the VN Wall Memorial, a vendor was selling patches. flags and bracelets. My husband immediately called me over. My husband is retired from the Navy. I looked through the vendors wares. LT Bruce C. Fryer was the bracelet I selected. I have worn it since that day. Today, I thought about Googling LT Fryar. I didn't expect to find anything. I was very happily surprised to see all the available information that answered so many of my questions. My husband served on the USS Ranger CV 61. The Ranger has always been special to me, I told my husband he was going to be a daddy on the flight deck. How our paths cross over the years. To Diana and daughter, I'm so sorry for your life long loss. Bless you and LT Fryar, RIP.
My brother came home from VN, 2 times. VN still took my brother at 65 due to Agent Orange. How many victims have died from the poison? That would add to the number of how many we really lost, still loosing from VN?
Proud Navy wife, Mom and grandmother, Retired! God Bless America!

Thank you

I wore your name on my MIA bracelet for so many years, ever hopeful there would be a happy ending, but it was not to be. Thank you for your service for and for the honor of including you in my prayers for so many years. God Bless you and those who loved and lost you.

Memorial Day Weekend 2023

Remembering you and those who didn't make it home from the Vietnam War. This year makes 50 years since America left Vietnam, but the time that you and those we lost have been gone seems so much longer.

With respect, always.

Upcoming Memorial Day Observance

We can tell Memorial Day is coming with the wreaths that hang on front doors, and the small red, white, and blue American flags that line the grass covered graves of the Veterans’ cemeteries all acrosse America. We honor your life and your memory on this Memorial day, and will hopefully have you home someday.

May we never forget your example and the true cost of our freedoms. You with those who love you paid that cost, and America will be forever indebted.

With respect, always.
