honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your niece Julie is moving and reflects the anguish experienced by so many families that lost loved ones in this war. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

My buddy an dthe guy that helped save my life on the Easter Sunday firefight off of LZ Mile High
Fitch as I used to call him were what I like to think of as family or as close as you can get in the situation we were all in.On April 15th 1968 Fitch and I were trying to set up some of defensive perimeter after all Hell broke loose and mortars , machine gun fire, and small arms fire surrounded Charlie Company. If it hadn't been for Fitvh I dont think I would be writing this today. I think of you all the time buddy and wish things as the Sarge said in an earlier post could have
worked out differently. You were an awesome guy and are my hero forever. See you on the other side Brother!!!

Thank You
Dear Sp4 Robert Fritsche,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Uncle Robert
I didn't ever get to know you because you died when you were only 19. I do know that your family was never the same and that my mom misses you every single day. I hope there is peace and laughter wherever you are and that you have been reunited with your mom and dad. You are loved and will never be forgotten. Thank you for all that you sacrificed. Love your niece--Juju
